Our client was an international couple living in Geneva working in the finance and banking industry. They wanted their space to be a welcoming and peaceful nest after many days spent abroad for business travels. As their countries of origin were different, their individual uniqueness emerged in the project through colors and lighting. These unique tendencies were merged in a seamless bright space that conveys energy and positive vibes. As wine lovers, we incorporated their passions with specially embedded cave-à vin nestled in their living room furniture.

Our clients were looking for calm and inspiration in Ascona, by the Swiss shores of beautiful Lake Maggiore. For this design, we wanted to convey inner peace and transformation in an apartment that was luminous and welcoming. A “buen retiro” to celebrate success but also a joyful parenthesis from a crowded world and to share with selected members of their intimate circle in a harmony of melodic notes and spirit.

This Milanese couple were living in the most secret yet sought-after area of Milan “Quadrilatero del Silenzio” (the Fortress of Silence). They needed a space that flourished with classical beauty, culture and intimate conviviality. The indelible traits of Italian uniqueness are tangible though sublime furniture and exquisite flooring.

Digital business requires an avant-garde mindset that anticipates trends and embraces futuristic change. Auditing requires discipline, rigor, and fair judgment. The common ground for this active family is a space that reflects a passion for the atemporal power of classical beauty. The apartment is located in the alluring and emblematic historic building overlooking an intimate and lively square right at the center of Milan, thus reinforcing its charm, elegance, and character.

All is fair in love, war, and…design! Our client was a British couple who wanted to renovate a family villa close to Greve in Chianti. Their fabulous property surrounded by high cypresses and vineyards is an ode to relaxation, peace of mind, and silence. Every detail is curated to amplify the force and sound of nature; thus we decided to marry stone with wood and special lighting with white. The outdoor space was conceived to provide luxury introspection by a heated pool that can be enjoyed all year round. Reading a book while sipping a good Chianti has never been such a mystical experience!

The Vertical Forest is a pair of residential towers in the Porta Nuova district in Milan and has been the most photographed complex since its inauguration in 2014. The towers were designed by Boeri Studio and they also incorporated input from horticulturalists and botanists. We were asked to create an interior design project in Torre Confalonieri. Coming from the industrial sector with a high-responsibility position, our client needed a place to disconnect from intense business dynamics and come home to a space that allows all the family to enjoy. Particularly appreciated was the leather armchair at the heart of the leaving room: a place to sit and reflect because sometimes in life, it is better to act and then think.

We had to transform a space that had been used for offices since the mid- 1940s into a high-end residential property right at the center of Milan. We embraced the challenge and thought it of particular interest the opportunity to play with the spectacular huge windows and demystify the “bureau aura”. The Italian couple who enjoys this beautiful place took pride in bringing warmth, hospitality and luxury through furniture and decoration.

Our client is a young Italian couple with a family business to run and a large apartment to renovate. They had a desire to create a space that could embrace social life and complement the aspiration of creating a family. Balance and joy, present and future, tradition and innovation. The climax is the precious marbled bar in the living room, created with the aim of fostering business dialogues within the family but also serving as a parenthesis of entertainment and relaxation with close friends.

Isola (“Island”) is one of the business districts in Milan and, because of its vibrant economic activity, it has become very trendy and sought-after. Our client, a Chinese couple, chose to make this district their home. Their apartment represents a perfect fusion between the neat and defined traits of Asian culture with the disruptive turmoil of Italian design. At the heart of this project is the beautiful kitchen, inviting close family ties, that opens up to a larger community of relatives and friends around a unique living room that is the emblem of sophistication and elegance.

In 2004 Studio Libeskind, in conjunction with Zaha Hadid Architects and Arata Isozaki & Associates revamped the skyline of Milan. The Libeskind tower overlooking the CityLife park, has a curved facade made of sustainable elements and glass reflecting the surrounding green spaces. With that in mind, our American client wanted a space that could help her daughter to adapt to the new environment and, at the same time, allow herself to start a brand-new life.

We created a friendly kitchen fostering dialogue and a bright office. The space also serves as a warm and welcoming place for friends to visit and we did it by leveraging on shapes and design that could bring a feeling of America to Milan.
